We are currently looking for an Alternative Funds Lawyer (4 years’ experience) for our Investment Funds practice
Our Mission
We are building a high-performance Luxembourg funds platform focussed on alternative investments, private capital and cross border investor structuring.
your mission
In close collaboration with our Head of Practice, you will contribute to the development of our Funds practice and work on a wide range of matters, providing legal advice to fund promotors and asset managers, depositary banks, central administrations, boards of directors, and other key stakeholders in the fund industry. The role is client facing and you will be actively involved in business development.
Your missions will include:
- Acting as day-to-day client contact for asset managers and investors.
- Advising clients on legal and regulatory matters related to alternative investment funds, drafting and reviewing fund documentation, and assisting with fund structuring and transactions.
- Monitoring regulatory developments, providing strategic legal advice to clients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within the firm.
- Liaising with regulators and other external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and guiding clients through complex legal frameworks.
- Being a key contact for the client review, drafting and/or negotiation of contractual relationships
- Participating in the roll-out of investment funds business plan (conferences, articles, client events…)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified lawyer with relevant academic qualifications in law
- Strong knowledge and expertise in fund structuring, AIFM environment, and financial services law
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documentation and contracts
- Excellent analytical and solution driven, with a keen attention to detail
- Commercial mindset, effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and French; additional language skills, especially Spanish, German, and/or Luxembourgish, are considered as an asset
