Lawyer/jurist for our Corporate and M&A department

We are a highly reputable, top-tier law firm based in Luxembourg, providing high-quality legal solutions to major international and domestic clients. Our approach combines tailored expertise with a broad cross-disciplinary perspective.

We are currently looking for a lawyer/jurist for our Corporate and M&A department (minimum 3 years’ experience)

your mission

You will join our team to work on various types of files providing legal advice to a wide range of international and multi-national clients, private equity houses, financial institutions and institutional clients. Your duties will include:

  • Involvement in several stimulating files which will allow you to discover and in turn apply the best technical methods in respect of international legal issues
  • Assisting the corporate team on all aspects of transactions (restructuring, M&A etc…)
  • Drafting of legal documentation (including performance of due diligence, drafting and negotiation of shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements and general corporate documentation)
  • Completion of legal research in local and cross-border legislations
  • Being a key contact for the client review, drafting and/or negotiation of contractual relationships
  • Participating in the roll-out of investment funds business plan (conferences, articles, client events…)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified lawyer (or aspiring to qualify) with relevant academic qualifications in law
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally in a law firm, on corporate structuring, and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documentation
  • Excellent analytical and solution driven, with a keen attention to detail
  • Commercial mindset, effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English and French; additional language skills, especially Spanish, German, and/or Luxembourgish, are considered as an asset
