Mar IBÁÑEZ ARRIBAS

Mar Ibáñez is an Associate Lawyer specializing in New Technologies, Data Protection & IP. She advises clients on a broad range of technology, data and digital compliance matters, with extensive experience in GDPR, AI implementation projects, and proactive compliance and risk management. Prior to her current role, Mar spent four years at a leading global law firm as an Associate in the same field.

Mar leads privacy and information security initiatives and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to design regulatory, governance and cybersecurity policies. She provides strategic guidance on international and cross‑border projects, supporting clients operating across multiple jurisdictions and managing matters in complex global environments. Her practice includes technology contracting, impact assessments, international data transfers, and advising on new and upcoming legislation such as the DSA, Data Act, DMA and AI Act.

She is an active member of the NextGen Forum of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Luxembourg Committee.
