Wim Ritz
Wim is heading our Alternative Funds & Investor Services practice.
With over 25 years of experience across legal practice, board positions and senior leadership roles in regulated financial institutions throughout Europe, the U.S., and Asia, Wim joined Stellan Partners to offer something different: legal advice shaped by the realities of fund operations & investor needs.
Wim focuses on what matters most to fund managers, platforms, and investors: clear structures, regulatory confidence, and practical solutions that work across borders. His advice is built on lived experience: he understands how decisions play out not just in legal documents, but in boardrooms, investor meetings, and day-to-day operations.
Clients turn to Wim because he speaks their language. He thinks like an entrepreneurial owner, not just a lawyer, and brings a business mindset to every mandate, always anticipating the operational impact behind every legal decision.
Alongside his advisory work, Wim regularly speaks at international conferences and lectures on “International Structuring & Estate Planning” at the University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance.
